Learning Tips

On Learning: You can learn a lot for free by spending time learning online or from your local library.  You can learn a lot by reading materials, listening to tutorials, or watching videos.

Rotarians today can craft their own learning experiences by blending traditional curriculum and methods with modern technology anyway you see fit.

I am here to help with that.

Learning is Step One

In Rotary our goal is to learn how to mash up and blend our vocations with service to others as efficiently and with as much impact as possible.  We are to be stewards of our resources.  Learning is a process that depends in part on the tools and technology available to you today, club's organizational cultural, environment, leadership, and  your particular situation.  Learning how to use social media and modern technology is challenging. 

Tip: Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable as you learn about technology.

Rotarians and Rotary Clubs can avoid a bit of the learning curve associated with social media and technology by using resources available at Rotary International's Brand Center.  

Beg.  Borrow. Cite.

If you do not create your own content (articles, photos, videos, etc) but instead find them in print or online and you or your Rotary Club use that resource; Make sure to cite the resource creator.
