About Jenelle Higton
Jenelle Higton moved to Fresno in 2004 after graduating from The Master’s College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Jenelle has dedicated the past 10 years as Practice Administrator to California Oncology of the Central Valley and California Oncology of Turlock. She was part of a key team of people that created the Art of Life program, under the leadership and vision of Fresno Oncologist, Dr. Christopher Perkins. Her passion and vision for the program led the charge to develop the Art of Life Cancer Foundation as a 501(c)3 Community Benefit Organization in 2013. She faithfully volunteered her time to lead and develop the non-profit in it’s early years and has now officially been named Executive Director of the Art of Life Cancer Foundation as of as of December 1, 2015.
With Jenelle’s efforts, the Art of Life Program has successfully seen over 300,000 people impacted by the Art of Life’s mission since 2007. Her passion is to see the stories and artwork of local cancer survivors featured in the Art of Life Healing Garden at Woodward Park and in turn, to create a landmark of hope in the Central Valley.
Jenelle loves traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters, Hailey (6) and Hope (4).
