The Mediator Mentors Project at Fresno State is a university-public school partnership in which future teachers, counselors, social workers and school psychologists support the development of conflict resolution skills in school children.

Mediator Mentors is a university-public school partnership in which future teachers, counselors, social workers and school psychologists support the development of conflict resolution skills in school children. At California State University, Fresno, Dr. Negin Tahvildary directs the program. Teachers and students in the public schools receive 12 hours of communication and conflict resolution training and university students coach and mentor at lunch periods. More than 7,000 children and teachers have participated in the program.

I am

  • a Fresno State Bulldog, Born Bred, and Educated;
  • a Rotarian and Humanist who attempts to live by the Object of Rotary everyday and in every way. 

I love ethics and try to do the right thing as I understand it.  I am far from perfect, just ask my family.   

While I fail more often than I like; I enjoy the challenge of being an ethical and moral person as best I can.
